WEISS has been active in the Chinese market since 2005 and, together with its long-standing local distribution partner Beijing Cofinetree Technology Co., Ltd., has established a strong position as a premium supplier of adhesive and sealing solutions, particularly for China’s window and door industry.

In 2025, WEISS took the next major step in its long-term Asian growth strategy by establishing its own local presence in China. Across the region, the Group operates under the identities WEISS China and WEISS Asia, combining the strength and expertise of the German WEISS Group with local market knowledge, proximity to customers and the speed of the Asian market.

The Group’s Asian activities are structured under WEISS Chemie Asia Co. Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong. Under this holding company, two independent legal entities operate in Qingdao, Shandong Province:

WEISS New Materials (Qingdao) Co. Limited is the Group’s local manufacturing company. It produces high-performance adhesives and sealants in China in accordance with WEISS quality and technology standards and also serves the domestic Chinese market.

WEISS Trading (Qingdao) Co. Limited serves as the international trading platform, supporting the distribution and export of products and solutions from China to Asia and markets around the world.

Both Chinese entities commenced operations in May 2026, marking an important milestone in the continued international development of the WEISS Group.

Today, WEISS combines more than 200 years of German industrial heritage, technological expertise and innovative strength with a strong local presence in one of the world’s most important growth regions.
